Lizard Skins Handle Bar Tape
$41.99
Available from Bicycles Etc.

What’s a cyclist to do about road shocked, sweaty palms? Never fear! Lizard Skins DSP (Durasoft Polymer) road handlebar tape is here!

The patented, grippy texture differentiates Lizard Skins from other handlebar tape. Along with great grip, it is available in a variety of colors and thicknesses ranging from 1.8, 2.5, & 3.1mm. The different thicknesses help reduce the amount of shock produced from road chatter that can lead to tingling and numbness in the hands after several hours of riding. Sweaty-palmed riders will benefit from the tactile feel of the tape, which keeps your hands securely on the handlebar.

Sean Manago, manager at the Philips Highway Bicycles, Etc. store, recommends that the tape be installed by a professional bike shop mechanic or an experienced rider that has successfully wrapped bars on their own.
